Paper Lantern Project

The Paper Lantern was a fun one day project in which I took the components including the battery, buttons, charger, and LED’s from an older lamp, and stuffed them inside a wooden and paper housing inspired by traditional Japanese lanterns.

The housing is assembled with a lattice of several overlapping wooden members, while the electrical components are contained within the panel shrouds of parchment paper.
