Stool-R

Stool-R is the final result of the 3 week pre-semester design introduction course in the WashU Sam Fox School Master of Architecture III program.

The design of Stool-R consists of two framing members which support a cascade of seat slats that form the sitting surface. Each slat features a gentle round over for comfort. The curved profile of Stool-R not only gives the stool the profile of my last initial from the right side, but also the ability to be tipped over to form a chair with a different seating dynamic.
