The Record Cabinet III was my favorite response to my ever expanding vinyl collection so far…
The cabinet was assembled using some spare angle iron for the legs, and the second 3.5’ x 3.5’ large panel that I found, (the first becoming the Gomi Table).

The cabinet section to the right was made of poplar dowels- spaced 1/4” apart in order to allow sufficient airflow for the subwoofer housed inside. My testing concluded that the housing did not inhibit acoustics in any way, while allowing the subwoofer and many cables to be hidden from plain sight.

This piece is one of a pair, so stay tuned for the upcoming matching desk rebuild!
