Desk III

The Desk III is another personal project in which I refinished an older piece of mine in order to match other pieces. This version of the Desk replaces the laptop tray with a new drawer, faced with the spare poplar dowels from the Record Cabinet III project.

The echoed color scheme, finishes, and materials between the pair of projects allows them to read as a set, ideal for a single room setting.

The drawer is suspended within a welded frame of steel square tubing mounted underneath the desk, in a fashion inspired by the famous Nyhaven Desk.
