WHO I AM

Hi, I’m Myles Richter, and I am an aspiring architect and graduate student at the Washington University in Saint Louis Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts. Previously, I was a student athlete at the University of Arkansas, who graduated Summa Cum Laude with Honors.

WHAT I DO

Master of Architecture / Master of Construction Management
(2024-2027)
I am now pursuing a dual Master of Architecture and Master of Construction Management degree at the Washington University in Saint Louis Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts.

Master’s Certificate: Project Management
(2023-2024)
While completing my fifth and final year of athletic eligibility at the University of Arkansas, I earned a Master’s Certificate in Project Management.

Architectural Studies
(2019-2023)
I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies, at the Fay Jones School of Architecture + Design at the University of Arkansas in 2023.

I have been a member of the Honors college for my entire collegiate career, and this website is largely devoted to documenting the process behind the development of my Honors Thesis project. This can be found under the “Architectural Studies” tab above.

Woodworking
(2016-Present)
In high school, I picked up the woodworking hobby through a teammate of mine. Ever since then, I have enjoyed designing and building furniture pieces for myself, my family, and to sell. The breadth of these projects ranges from design exercises, to personal craftsmanship and technique challenges. Recently, I have begun documenting my work in a professional and marketable manner. Documentation of these pieces and their backgrounds will be shared in posts which can be found under the “Woodworking” tab.

Cross Country and Track
(2015-2019 at Hebron High School) (2019-2024 at Arkansas)
I began running Cross Country and Track freshman year of high school, and from there progressed into the competitive collegiate athlete I am today. 2023 NCAA Indoor Track and Field NATIONAL CHAMPIONS

3x NCAA Academic All-American

All-SEC : 1x First Team, 5x Second Team, 2x Newcomer Team

2x SEC Scholar Athlete of the Year Finalist

11x SEC Team Champion with my fellow Razorbacks.
